Welcome to the Kerrville Archery and Bowhunting Associations (KABA) web site. We are chartered by the ASA and operate under their bylaws. Visit ASA at www.texasasafederation.com KABA offers the largest 3-D range in Texas. Located just twelve miles southwest of Kerrville, KABA offers the most diverse 3-D range to be found anywhere. Guests tell us the range is the most scenic in Texas, and feature 30 "easy-to-pull" Reinhart 3-D Targets, many of which you must shoot downhill in challenging scenarios just like hunting situations. We also feature a lighted practice range with marked yardage targets out to 40 yards. KABA President Tink Nathan is a world renowned bowhunter, Certified Bowhunter Instructor,  NAA & PSE  Certified Coach and a Basic Archery Instructor(BAI) for the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP). Joining KABA is a great way to meet  some  wonderful people who share your archery and bowhunting interests.    At  KABA, we’ve found that meeting regularly is a great way to keep up-to-date with the latest archery and bowhunting news and to meet people who will actually understand what you’re talking about!  Our club meetings  are informal usually including by a social hour or a fun  shoot. While not all members are interested in competition, many just enjoy shooting the lighted practice range and hanging out with other bowhunters. During summer months we have a Club Shoot and cook out on Thursdays Evenings, starting after work about  5 PM and going until dark. Bring your own food, vittles and chow. We will fire up the Jennair and you can grill your  steaks, burger and  dogs. Monthly Club tournaments, extensive archery and bowhunting instruction, year round 24/7 shooting (spotlights for practice  range  night shooting), air conditioned pro shop & club house and liability insurance of $1,000,000.    Tools available at the pro shop are a bow press, arrow cut off tool, scales, chrono, fletching and cresting jigs, and tuning tools. We also offer regional and state competitions and fully expect to offer the Texas  ASA  3-D Championship in the near future.
